Outside the tourist centers
Lazisko is one of the last authentic foothill villages in Liptov that has not been touched by mass tourism. The Jelše complex is rising at the very end of the village, at the entrance to the Mošnica valley. This is where the asphalt road ends and the protected area of the Low Tatras begins. No hotels, no crowded car parks, and no tourist colonies. Just forest, the sound of a stream, and a valley where you will barely meet anyone.

Nature and tourism right outside the door
- Valley Mošnica (0 min): It starts right at your house. A wild, little-known valley ideal for a morning run, a walk with the dog or mountain biking without the crowds.
- Wooden articular church of the Holy Cross (5 min): One of the largest all-wood buildings in Central Europe, hidden in a neighboring village.
- Demänovská Ice Cave and Freedom Cave (15 min): World-famous cave systems at the beginning of Demänovská dolina.
Skiing

- Jasná Low Tatras (20 min): The largest ski resort in Slovakia. Enjoy top-class skiing or skialpinism, and after a day on the slopes return to the complete silence of your retreat.
- Zuberec / Roháče Spálená (45 min): If you want to try wilder slopes and excellent conditions in the Western Tatras.
- Malinô Brdo / Ružomberok (25 min): A smaller ski resort, where both experienced and beginner skiers can enjoy themselves. The ski slopes along the ridge of Veľká Fatra will captivate every snow enthusiast.
